Earlier we mentioned the recently released Dutch QAFE brochure. We had it translated, printed (request as many copy’s as you want) and now it is published online. As we can see on the demo site, we see in the “Applications” Menu several applications. In a previous post we already mentioned how to handle a large application easily with the Application Context file.

When you click on the “Try Demo” on the main page, you’ll see the showcase “QAFE” application and some code snippets.
In the menu bar (see image) you’ll find the “Try Me” menu-item. This will open the a window which is meant purely for demo purposes and maybe even prototyping (e.g., for business analysts).

When you go to http://demo.qafe.com, the first application that starts is the “Showcase” Application.
This Showcase application is a QAFE Application, written in QAML. In the tree on the right, you’ll see Components and Events. (more…)
QAFE is the name of our new framework. But how did we come up with this name? Actually there were several names before we hit on QAFE.
We started it out as “Project Genesis” (the beginning of something), but if you Google on Genesis you get 46 million hits. (more…)
