QAFE is Adobe AIRborne

Tags: , | Posted in News on # December 10, 2009 | #No Comments

As you know, with QAFE you can render all sorts of enterprise applications to several Web2.0 front-ends. For instance GWT (based on Javascript) and Adobe Flex (a plug-in technology). Unfortunately, because of security policies, plug-in technologies like Adobe Flex and Microsoft Silverlight are not always allowed inside corporations. Especially for such environments with limited browser capabilities QAFE now launches a safe connection through Adobe AIR.

Thanks to the Adobe AIR runtime QAFE’s enterprise web applications can now also be deployed as desktop applications as well. Providing all the conveniences of a desktop application while giving the browser a rest. Ensuring safe installations by requiring digital signatures on each AIR application to identify the application and its creator before install.
